For the past several years, I have been growing my garden entirely in containers. My favorite container to grow tomatoes and peppers in is a 5-gallon plastic bucket, however, a variety of suitable containers can be found at thrift stores, dollar stores, or discarded in the corner of your barn, garage, shed, utility room or just about anywhere. You know I love saving money, so I try to re-purpose containers I already have on hand. The only criteria is the container must be big enough for growth and maturity of your plant and have drain holes. If drain holes aren’t present, then you can easily solve that problem with a drill and small drill bit or a hammer and nail.
