I love reading cookbooks and collecting recipes! I can’t begin to tell you how many recipes I have but I have a ton! My mom also loved recipes and I inherited many of hers. They are special to me because they are handwritten by her, usually on a scrap piece of paper or an old, used envelope. My mom was the queen of repurposing things, I think because she lived during the Great Depression when all possessions were precious due to many shortages of everyday necessities. I will be sharing many, many recipes with you as time goes on. Some have been handed down from generation to generation, some are from my own stash, and others are experiments that surprisingly have turned out great!
